Unreleased - New works
Here you can preview unreleased new paintings and sculptures. There are three series I am currently working on.
'Sukari' series
This series is an exploration regarding surface and depth, with a sculptural contingent. The painting style is understated with more emphasis attached to narrative and composition dynamics, whilst the sculptures emphasise singular events. Oil painting on board or on copper; utilising aged copper for tone, marks and etched into. Measuring depth and dimension with low relief modelling (white figures) and inset cut down detail. Sculpture materials consist of wood (burnt and polished), white hydrostone and epoxy, with opalite insets.

'Encounters in the wild' series
A surrealistic engagement with nature, places and felt sentiment. This series explores the under-layer of perceptive forms in nature. Realistically executed, tempered with surreal components, leaving residual unresolved sincerity.

'Heritage' series
This series explores the cultural heritage of the UAE through meticulously researched archival black-and-white photographs, reinterpreted in full colour with oil on wood grain panels. The wood’s natural grain lends a subtle dimension to re-imagined moments drawn from the region’s past.
